The Bytowne Oyster Festival (est. 2007)
It started in the parking lot of Bank Street on Canada Day, 2007 with - 400 people- 5 bands - 700 oysters.
Today, it’s hosted at Whalesbone Kent on the last Sunday in June. Each year, we see close to 2,5000 people who consume some 6,000 oysters. It’s the most fun you’ll have in a parking lot all summer.
